For example, French dining culture is commonly known for its slower pace and emphasis on social connections. This, compared to Canada's fast-paced lifestyle, is a stark contrast.

In France, traditionally, dining is a process to be savored, involving sharing a meal with others, and most usually, their pride in the quality of their ingredients.

Most learners tend to be frequently exposed to classic dishes such as crepes, croissants, and baguettes when learning the language. This helps them gain an understanding of how important food plays a role in French culture.

Politeness, formality, and interaction styles additionally help to show cultural differences.


For example, even a simple greeting such as hello or in French, "bonjour," can reflect these norms.

The different usages of pronouns also reflect societal relations and give a window into their idea of respect. French culture has many traditions, foods, and arts.
One thing that really stands out to students is French meals. In class, they learn about different meals and discover how important food connected to cultures.

Instead of hurrying all the time,the French focuses on enjoying the moment , and many students find this idea interesting. French art and history also play a huge role in the culture.

Art is a great way to express the culture, French is one of the biggest countries that focuses a lot on art. Some students learn about famous artists such as Monet and Renoir, they also will get to know that France has many museums explaining about the France art history.


Learning about French art helps students understand why France is full of romance and creativity. Even the architecture, like Eiffel Tower, shows the romance culture and the history.


Another important thing about the French culture is communication. The French language sounds very different from English, the pronunciation and the grammar are all different from French.


In summary, going into the French culture helps students know that learning a language includes speaking and also understanding the culture makes what you say sound more natural. Discovering the culture behind French makes learning French more easy to learn and enjoyable.
