Lots of teachers believe that Social Studies is very important because it's not only about understanding the world becoming smart, getting good grades, but to become caring persons.
Teachers say that Social Studies teaches us about history, culture, and how people live and work together. This is how students can learn basic respect to others, and other important things such as solving problems in peaceful ways.
Teachers normally think that Social Studies helps students become good citizens. It teaches them how the government works, why we vote, and how to make good choices for our communities.
Some teachers says it even helps with reading, writing, and thinking skills, because students will about learn how to ask questions, find answers, and explain there ideas in a better way.
Overall, teachers believe that Social Studies help students to grow into people who are kind, smart, and ready to help make the world a better place.
It also shows us how things from the past still matters today, sometimes it can be boring if there’s too many facts to remember. How we can use what we learn to not make the same mistakes again.
